Yes, I flashed gapps without any issues. My phone works just fine, it is my primary device.

Unfortunately, I am also one of the "smart ones" that flashed 26s when I got the phone. I then installed gapps, and fortunately, I didn't try to flash twrp (which seems to result in hard bricking of the device). I am still hoping that one day we will be able to unlock the bootloader, install...

Yes, exactly. This lineage for x720 might work, but currently there is no way to install it.... I really hope that sometime in the future, installing lineage will be possible, that someone figures it out (fingers crossed it happens sometime soon) :)

The problem is that the bootloader is locked and there is currently no root for the device... and as it seems like there will never be. one... It would make this phone so much better if we had the chance to put lineage on it, as LeEco is going under (if not already), and there will be no future...

I don't agree regarding the battery, but an sd slot I definitely miss... the phone itself is good, but it really sucks that we can't put lineage on it. I wish I did proper research before buying it, as I would probably go for a different one.

Hmmm.. So, what you are saying is, if I do a CWM backup now in LQ5 and then update (or downgrade) to some other firmware I should be able to restore with CWM? Is there anything special you do before making a backup, because it gives me an error every time I try doing that...

Uff I am sorry to hear that... :( CMW does not even let me restore if the firmware is different... That's why I would like to know if there is a way to do it.

Great, but... The xxlp2 is a great firmware. I didn't experiance any major bugs so far (been using it for the past 3 days). However, I get browser forecloses often, and also wakelock is the same as it was in gingerbread (about 1,5 sec which is pretty annoying). IMO the battery life sucks...

Hey guys! I need some help from the community. I want to flash 2.3.5 firmware on my s2, but I have a few questions... I live in Austria and I am on Tmobile. I flashed a 2.3.4 on it, so I partially de-branded the phone. However, I would like to flash 2.3.5 but it is not yet released for austria...
