Sure i have to use odin. But what do you mean with recovery? Odin needs downloadmode for flashing. So if you don't have problems loosing data, flash complete Stockrom. And then go as if rooting 1st time. I think that would work. My problem is only, that i won't loose data on next update and...

Thanks for your feedback. I also have the 46mm, and i use the same samsung account on all my phones. Also i tried to pair with and without internet-connection with no success. So maybe it has to do with root. Perhaps i will try again after receiving upgrade to Android 11 before rooting that.

and no problems with pairing? I can't pair my watch with 10lite. In the last stage of pairing it remains endless. I tried with newest and older galaxy wear app+watch plugin, but allways the same. On my other phones (Note 3 and Xiaomi) no problems. Could root or open bootloader be the problem...

Hi, anybody got this working? I can mirror to chromecast, but if i try to my firetv the connection broke directly after a connect is shown on the screen.

You are shure you selected "install magisk in other slot (after OTA)" and after flashing the boot-image directly rebooted out of magiskmanager? I did same as you, updating from september to october last month, and today to november. Both times it does fine.

For Oreo i use magisk xposed framework v90b3r22. Newer one i can't found in the magisk-modullist.

Is this pure Xposed or can it be used as Magisk-modul?

I think it was meant the other way round: To get back to oreo you had to flash oreo and the pie modem.img

Thank you for the answer. But for me twrp only makes real sense for backing up/restore complete system. Flashing can achieved also by other ways (sideloading f.e.) Until restore without problems is confirmed, i stay on root with magisk and titaniumbackup.

if you flash in both slots, you have the new version in both; that's all. Otherwise you could activate other slot and boot into your old version. Possible the better variant, if something goes wrong with flashing.

For me frontcamera works when HDR+ is switched off.

May not allways work. After failure on OTA that was the first i tried, flashed original system.img, then booted and deinstalled Magisk. No Change, OTA fails again.

Thats not available until now. You can only flash 9.6.4 with miflash. The *.img in the OTA-Diffs must be flashed with fastboot, like described in post 1.

Maybe you have an older version of fastboot. Mine has this option ( version 28.0.1-4986621) . Look around here in the rooting-threads. I found in one of them a link to the new platform-tools i installed.

Boot your patched-boot.img with fastboot and reinstall magisk with 'install direct'. Maybe also changing active slot with fastboot would be enough. Next time if OTA failes, use magisk-install direct instead 'after OTA'.

srsroot thanks for the tip, but i just tried with german(vodafone) version of 890N 4.4.4, and it didn't worked for me. One times in many trys it shows on screen something like "installing su", but there was nothing on the phone later.

Thanks for your work. Installed the torch-variant on Team-Union V4 Rom, no problems (had to move SystemUi to /system/app in the .zip before flashing).
