You are right, it's the official Google dialer. Oneplus had the same issues, so did the essential phone and the Mi A1. For as far as I can see they fixed it with a software update.

It's a bug in the Nokia dialer. Google contacts app is fine.

Weirdly enough this version introduced battery drained with miscellaneous, while I didn't have that with the previous builds.

I can confirm that did this not aid in getting a proper gps fix. So it's probably something else. I changed the gps config file and did a reboot. After that I had the app 'GPS Status' try and get a fix for some time but none was acquired.

Not sure to be honest, but I did notice the built in superuser application failed to give me access when I tried to su in the console terminal.
