You can always use the run-out speed to throttle the speed once the 1GB is consumed. What I can do for you in this case is to provide of fix for a bug in that functionality : the run-out speed is not applied upon phone reboot . The fix will also contain an indication in the rule itself to tell...

Now your request is clear . Then you are in case of a recurring data plan. Generally service providers throttle data speed automatically by network once the 1GB is reached and that throttling will remain active till the end of the month. This app did not provide this because it is already done ...

Yes , that's possible . Set data amount to 1GB with full speed option in rule settings. In run-out actions change speed to 16KBps (128kbps). After 1GB of data usage , the phone will start working at 128kbps until you overwrite that speed yourself . You create a new rule with a new speed so...

Hi emadmahdi, I will give you a good trick by which you will be convinced that such iptables commands will cost you a lot of wasted data and that will kill your data plan behind the scenes and this will be costly especially when you opt for that over mobile. Here are the steps: 1- set your...

Post [APP][2.1+] Bandwidth manager for android [root/non root]

This is a good question indeed, I personnally do not prefer iptables eventhough I consider myself part of the netfilter community . The problem is that if you use iptables to limit downstream traffic , there will be many drops and therefore many retransmissions from your carrier (provider core...

Post [APP][2.1+] Bandwidth manager for android [root/non root]

Ok thats fine once you use that for wifi. Its not recommended to limit download over mobile (4G,3G..) , as traffic retransmission caused by dropping network packets is count as normal traffic and therefore you will be billed twice. Nothing to worry about as you are over wifi and your dataplan is...
