Turning off the auto screen brightness appears to improve the battery drain

This worked for me, after I royally messed up my device and was left with no partitions or ability to roll back a TWRP backup I had. Rolled back to 1.5, started up and was then prompted to download load 5.0 again. Now to put TWRP and root back in place.

Yep this fixed it for me also, must always remember to update the blob. Out of interest can anyone explain what exactly does the blob contains an why after years of flashing and rooting I've only ever had to do this with the Shield Tablet ?

On the latest builds (I'm running 196) the SystemROM free space appears to be very minimal, out of 264MB I have only a couple of MB free, is this right ? (I'm viewing the free space using Titanium Backup)

I'm also running the update from within GooManager and also not getting a reboot, just a quick message flashing up saying the update was successfully . It downloads 2.5.0.0 but when I boot into recovery and check the version I'm still running 2.4.1.0.

OK I'm joining the party.....Pocket & Currents now locking for me also. Currents was fine with 139, but pocket was not working, Now with 140 neither are working Rolling back to 137 appears to solve the problem.
