To get root you basically just flash a new kernel (like Siyah or Sakuramilk). Someone wrote an excellent blog post here http://www.japanmobiletech.com/2012/05/updated-installing-ics-cyanogenmod-9-on.html. There are now newer versions of the kernel and other files but the general process is still...

    Post [ROM]ICS-4.0.4 FLEX-Ressurrection-Aroma_Rev1 (Flexreaper newest edition)(02-Nov-2012)

Same problem here. Can never download more than about 10 MB before the server stops sending. Any alternate links or download methods for this rom would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Just to confirm, should this work with 4.2 based roms as well?

Gave the latest version of Resurrection Remix a go yesterday (based on cm10.1 nightlies). Had the looping issue initially because I was trying to use Siyah's kernel, which is no longer compatible unless you want to try the v6 beta that just showed up last week. I did eventually get things...

Unlock on JB I can confirm that GalaxSim Unlock works with the SC-02C. See xda thread ID=1846451 for the app Other unlock apps seem to only work on ICS but this one worked for me on JB (I'm running resurrection remix rom based on CM 10). This may be common knowledge but just thought I'd...

Nothing special Basically translates to "you don't need to do anything in particular". The app just kinda sits there (and takes up space in your app drawer). Run this spmodepush.apk once after installing the sp-mode mail app itself from the market and things should work.

SP Mode Push Notifications There's an app floating around called "SPModePush.apk". Just install that and you should be good to go. I'm not allowed to post links yet but you'll find lots of links if you google it. Same app seems to work for a number of docomo devices.

CM 10 bugs Installed the Aug 5th nightly build yesterday. A couple minor issues. 1, Bluetooth protocol A2DP (the media streaming one) doesn't work. It'll connect to bluetooth headphones but it won't pipe the audio through. According to the change logs this has been addressed in the Aug 6th...

Did you make sure KIES isn't running at the same time as ODIN? I remember reading somewhere that if KIES (the program) is running then it will block ODIN. Just something else to check.

Stock -> Rooted! + GPS + TV The steps by Nakagusukumike in his post at the bottom of page 8 worked for my stock SC02C. THANKS!!! And thanks also to R3wt3d for providing the kernel. For any uber-noobs out there (like me), in step 3 where it says "download mmcblk0p5 and put it on your sdcard on...
