Post OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren 5G Update 10.0.37.HD61CB Released

Does anyone know if this update was pulled? I put off applying it on my device for a while, and now it doesn't show up if I try and force a system update.

    Post 10.0.35 update

I think this update brings the 5G band n41 to our device if the new band specs on T-Mobile's listing for our phone is anything to go by.

Totally didn't even think that would fix it. I had it in my head that the boot.img was separate from the kernel. Will try this! Thank you!

    Thread Stock Kernel Backup?

Does anyone have a backup of the stock kernel for the 5G version? I tried out blu and I don't think it's reacting well with my device, but I completely forgot to take a backup of the kernel before flashing it. If necessary, I'll MSM, but was hoping to just reflash back to the stock kernel to...

Post [GUIDE] ROOT OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren 5G (T-Mobile version HD1925)

Root works just fine for me as well. I used the patched boot.img from the OTA fixer then just did the direct install and everything works perfectly and I'm able to retain root after multiple reboots as well.

    Post [HD1925] [OP7TPROTMO] reserve.img dumps OTA fixer.

Understood. Just to be clear though, this overwrite doesn't result in a replacement of the data partition with a blank partition, correct? I understand that it's technically not a wipe, but I just want to be certain by doing this process that I won't end up losing all my files and need to...

Post [Updated/All Versions & Models!] Root OnePlus 7T Pro

I can confirm this works on the T-Mobile version; however, it requires a few changes. You will need to use the below commands to pull your boot image from TWRP instead of what was previously mentioned. adb shell dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot of=boot.img adb pull /boot.img And when...

    Post T-Mobile Unlockable??

I'm located in NY where there's been decent 5G rollout already, but 4G has terrible building penetration, so hoping that 5G helps with that. Parts of my office are virtual deadzones, yet I work across the street from Carnegie Hall, so not a dead zone you would expect. The 5G element...

    Post T-Mobile Unlockable??

Good point. I can probably live with it as long as I can still unlock it and get root access. Who knows, maybe OnePlus will release an international 5G variant as well after all. They claimed they weren't releasing the Pro in the US or any 5G variant at all, then 2 weeks later they announce...

    Post T-Mobile Unlockable??

Yes, but useless now. I returned the device because they announced the 7T Pro McLaren 5G is actually coming to T-Mobile after all. Now just waiting for the actual release date.

Post Any thoughts about 5G version, I am waiting for this lso long.

611 ended up agreeing to $25 of goodwill, but they wouldn't do the full amount. I'm on Jump, so I don't believe I have a $20 upgrade fee. My company is covering the cost of my device, so the potentially high price of the 7T Pro doesn't really phase me.

Post Any thoughts about 5G version, I am waiting for this lso long.

Saw that this morning. Already planning to return my 7T to T-Mobile now, but unfortunately I'm getting hit with a restocking fee. Bit of a learning experience with that though as seems if you order from them over the phone or online there's no restocking fee, but in store there is.

    Post T-Mobile Unlockable??

I was actually pretty honest with them and told them I've been unlocking the bootloader, rooting my device, and using custom ROMs on my devices for 9 years, and part of why I purchased a OnePlus device was so I could continue to do that. Not having the ability to do that would severely impair...

    Post T-Mobile Unlockable??

After 3 quick phone calls with T-Mobile support, I just got them to override the permanent unlock for my newly purchased T-Mobile OnePlus 7T. I'm on the Jump plan and got them to do the same thing for my OnePlus 6T last year, but this time they processed the override for me much quicker and...

Post Do Not Buy The T-Mobile OnePlus 6T

I can add myself to the list of people who got early SIM unlocks from T-Mobile. After repeatedly discussing this with representatives on the T-Mobile app chat since Monday, they finally pushed through the override this morning on my 2 OnePlus 6Ts and unlocked the SIM on both. One of these...

    Post [ROM]-[23.07.20]-Havoc-OS-3.7-[10.0.0_r40]-[Official]

Not sure if this is just a Lineage thing, but in previous ROMs when I was working in Split Screen and would open something from the top panel, the newly launched app would stay in the top panel (for example, I would open PDFs from my e-mail and it would open the PDF viewer in the same panel)...

    Post [KERNEL] [January 29] ElementalX-N9 5.17 (Nougat) 7.03 (Oreo)

You mentioned that this tablet can handle 1.5A. Are you basing that on the power supply that came with it, or is that just the max draw? I ask this because the first generation Nexus 7 (and maybe the second gen too) came with a 2A charger. Given that the Nexus 9 is bigger and has a bigger...

Post Nexus 5 LTE Band support

I was thinking the same thing. What would be great for people on T-Mobile would be to have a mod removing all of the useless Sprint bands (since it's CDMA) and replacing them with band 12 and some of the foreign bands (such as band 3 for example). While not everyone does a lot of traveling...

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

Has Tablet UI been added back in yet? That feature can make or break a ROM for me, so if that feature still is yet to be added back in, then I'll continue waiting until it is, unless someone can recommend another approach to receive Tablet UI even without it being baked into the ROM itself...

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

This is definitely an issue since the hidden status bar was added. This bug alone has forced me off of Carbon ROM as of late as it makes the ROM virtually unusable for me. Once this is fixed I look forward to reflashing this ROM.

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

That's what appears to be happening, and if I switch to Phablet mode and use Chrome the Status Bar auto hides even with the setting off, so if I go to touch where the tabs are, first the Status Bar needs to come back, and then I can switch tabs. I temporarily have switched off of this ROM until...

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

This is still a major issue for me. The last nightly without this issue is the 4/17 nightly. I assume it may be related to the auto-hide status bar feature.

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

The currently latest nightly has problems with detecting touch activity at the top of the screen when in Tablet mode. I had to revert to a prior nightly due to this issue because it made it impossible to switch tabs on Chrome.

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

Yes, thank you for pointing that out. I had PIE on Rootbox before this and the trigger area didn't have the same affect as it appears to have on this ROM. I set the trigger area to small so I can trigger it when using extended desktop but won't bother me I'm not. Thank you again.

Post [ROM][AOSP] [Nightly/Release] CarbonRom JB [grouper]

I'm not certain if this is due to that I'm running Tablet UI, or that I'm running 160 DPI, but the bottom of my screen right above the nav bar does not pick up touch input. This is especially annoying when typing, as I have to make a point to not hit the lower portion of space bar or other...

How frequently do you think you will do these tests now? It's been a month since the last round of tests and I would be interested to see how the newest Faux beta compares to M-Kernel and Franco Kernel. Post [ROM][4.2.2][AOKP/CM] Nexus 7 Vanilla RootBox 4.2 [8/2][HALO][PER-APP-DPI][PIE]

If you dirty flash over either the stable release or a slightly earlier nightly it doesn't appear to have System UI crashes, or that's what worked for me anyway. If I tried clean flashing either of the last 2 nightlies, the second I finishing booting up I get consistent System UI crashes...

    Post [ROM] [03/20][4.2.2] Dirty RootBox v2.5 [Per-App-DPI][PIE]

It wasn't even just with the kernel. Basically if I made any manipulations at all it would break that feature (such as dirty flashing from v1.0 to v1.1), and I was unable to restore it no matter what I tried. Maybe I'm just not lucky, but I have no idea what's causing all those problems.

    Post [ROM] [03/20][4.2.2] Dirty RootBox v2.5 [Per-App-DPI][PIE]

Not having much luck. I'm sort of giving up on the per app DPI and Xposed framework as its causing me way more trouble than its worth. I like tablet UI on almost all apps and I like 160 DPI, so I just did a build.prop change in conjunction with tablet UI through AOKP settings, so I'll probably...
