Considering that I have gotten 1 single update for my S5, which was over a year ago (to 5.0), I'm pretty sure this crap were my first and last Samsung device ever. I can't talk for the guy you quoted, but yours and mine perspective on "waiting long" are definitely not the same. ;)

just out of curiosity, because I haven't seen any mentions of it, what happens if you try to put a full screen app in one of the boxes? for example a game or a full screen youtube video. :)

See attached pictures of my camera settings, as well as detailed information about an image that I snapped with the rear camera. I'm on the April 5 build. As far as smoothness vs stutter, this ROM is by far smoothest one ever run on my device.

Well the same thing goes for any other ROM as well.. if you dirtyflash and encounter issues there is impossible to say whether it's because of the current build or if it's because of remains from the previous build. There's nothing new about that right here.

With Dirty Unicorns 5.1 test builds the performance of this game increases a lot. It's almost as good as expected, however still not as smooth as on my SGS5. I believe more improvement are to expect over time

another thing. what version were your previous bootloader? I've had 3.43.0.0114 at least since the LRX21R release, so I didn't need to flash bootloader at all.

yup. I just played some more and I came to the conclusion that the reinstall didn't help at all. as you say, not painfully laggy, but it's still not comparable to as how butter smooth it runs on my SGS5 or for that matter my girlfriends devices (Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 tablet).

For me CoC is laggy/stuttery, and it soaks battery. The N9 gets really warm when I play. I'll try to re-install to see whether it gets better. I'll report back ---------- Post added at 10:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:34 AM ---------- I just reinstalled and at a first glimpse it...

I love it. Can't wait for apps to be optimized though. Chrome is heating this piece up and drains battery, as well as games like Clash of Clans. (which is also quite stuttery/laggy)

How weird is'nt that, I just came in here to let people know that flashing exactly that package fixed my issues with non-sticking settings :eek: idk why it does'nt work for you, but suddenly in my case all settings get restored upon boot! This here is what we're talking about now..
