    Post [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][AICP][14.0][dragon] -> 20190213 (DISCONTINUED)

    I feel a bit silly asking such a narrow question, but I couldn't find the answer on the AICP site. Does AICP provide the ability to add a distinct, separate last app button? That's my favorite feature ever. (This is not a feature request, like "please add XYZ." I'm just asking if it's already...

    Post Should i buy a used Pixel C ? (totally crazy?)

    At this point 350 seems a little steep. On the other hand, my Galaxy Tab S3 will only charge when it's turned off because of supposed moisture in the port that apparently lasts forever. So the Pixel C has been my primary tablet. Although I like the S3s haptic feedback and GPS the Pixel C is...

    Post as of mid-March 2018, is the Galaxy Tab S3 worth it?

    Android tablets get a lot of hate for reasons I don't understand. If Android tablets are your preference (as they are mine) then I don't know of a better "current" tablet than the S3. The Pixel C is still pretty awesome. I marginally prefer the S3 because of the haptic feedback and slightly...

    Post Pixel C v.s. Galaxy Tab S3

    If I have one big gripe about the Samsung buttons it's that in addition to being where they aren't expected, they aren't lit. You have to learn where they are. But today I picked up my Pixel C and i was looking for the Samsung buttons even though the onscreen ones were plainly visible. The S3...

    Post Pixel C v.s. Galaxy Tab S3

    I just purchased an S3 and I'm comparing it side-by-side with my Pixel C. It's too soon to compare battery life, although I don't expect the S3 to last quite as long. The Pixel C lasts forever. But so far I see a number of advantages on the S3. - SD card (not that I care) - S-Pen (not really...

    Post [ROM] SM-T820 TWEAKED....................[rom] sm-t820 tweaked

    I received my tablet yesterday. First I applied the latest software update. Then I installed TWRP, SuperSu, and the boot patch as described in this thread. After backing up I did a wipe and flashed this ROM. It took about five minutes. It restarted once just as it began to draw the Samsung logo...

    Thread Need help booting into recovery

    Hi, I searched before asking, but came up empty. I'm attempting to install TWRP. Flashing it with Odin works just fine. Where I'm hung up is the next step, booting immediately into recovery. The instructions I've seen are to hold down POWER, HOME, VOLUME-DOWN. When the screen goes blank...

    Post Still worth buying?

    I really like my Pixel C. But is it worth it at current prices? I'd say no, not by a long shot. It's two years old. You can get a Galaxy Tab S2 or S3 for much less. You can get a giant Windows tablet and install Android. In fact, if people are actually paying $500-600 for these things then...

    Post Impossible to install Google usb and fastboot driver for Pixel C (Windows 10)

    This may or may not be a helpful response. I had the same problem and never, ever solved it. That's not to say that it can't be done, but I had to...

    My Pixel C works perfectly and I love it. I've also been through several of them, one because of a screen defect. It's the "split screen" defect which has happened to multiple users and isn't specific to this device or Google devices. The good - it's the best tablet I've ever used. The bad -...

    Post [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][LineageOS][18.1][dragon] -> 2021-01-05

    I tried RR and got the setup wizard crash again. It skips the wifi connection step. Doesn't matter which gapps I use. But I found an easy workaround. Install and launch the ROM without gapps, connect to wifi, then install gapps. Then I can set up a google account, restore from Titanium, etc.

    Post [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][LineageOS][18.1][dragon] -> 2021-01-05

    I always get the TWRP bootloop if I boot before installing SuperSU. That happened with DU and with this. I also had some issues with the setup wizard crashing. It was skipping the step of connecting wifi, and then it would crash when I tried to enter a Google account (which wouldn't have worked...

    Post First Problem With My Pixel C - A Whopper!

    I had the exact same issue. Half the screen was "snow". At first I could solve by rebooting but it gradually got worse. It's hardware. Sometimes it would respond to pressure on the screen and it happened even when booting. I finally had to RMA it. UBreakItWeFixIt is a new development. When I...

    Two 7.1 ROMs. The other just prefers not to have an announcement on XDA. If their wishes are violated they will stop supporting the device. I don't know if that includes just mentioning the name but I won't risk it because the ROM is great. Does that include hiding a lame acrostic message in...

    Post Repair for cracked screen

    Formidable for me. But they're Google, manufacturer of the Pixel C. That would seem to put them in a unique position to know how to repair it. And they probably know where to get the screens because they make those too. But what's really odd is that they didn't know who does repairs. I'm not...

    I really, really like the Pixel C. I like it so much that I hope my 4th one works. The first one died after one day. The second one died after several months. The third one died after one hour. I've been debating whether I should actually keep the next replacement when it arrives or sell it...

    The 30-second delay is trivial (to me.) I think it's an odd and intrusive choice, but it's never been a big deal. I've never had any trouble with the wifi, although it sounds like the mileage varies. I don't usually care how many bars there are as long as it's not dropping off.

    Considering that there's a giant piece of screen real estate dedicated to three buttons which are either in the middle or grouped at both ends, I can't see a good reason not to have all three buttons at both ends.
