I think the problem here is that S2U2 currently has two possible "triggers"; one, is the backlight turning off. Two, is the device returning from standby (or some similar low-to-high power state transition). A_C would have to implement a delay on the backlight trigger in order for it to work...

UserWeather working fine here. Only thing I can suggest is to delete/clear the UserWeather registry value and restart. If it doesn't crash, re-run the MortScript to repopulate the reg key and try locking S2U2 again.

Export HKCU\Software\A_C\S2U2 to a .reg file using your favourite registry editor, then import after the flash.

This is the same approach I suggested for the weather icon here, and I think your suggestion is an excellent way to further integrate A_C's suite of apps. Good to know I'm not the only person thinking along those lines :) As always, his opinion is what ultimately matters though.

I had something like this happen to me a little while back. I ended up deleting expired notifications from the notification queue, and also deleting reg entries in HKCU\System\State\Shell\Reminders. Soft-reset. YMMV - as usual, backup the registry!
