Ok, I tried flashing the recovery but that didn't work. I tried flashing the stock rom via odin again and it came up with the connect to kies error until I put the 16gn pit in and now it is back to the android figure with the spinning orb... Enclosed is the log, any other ideas? I am at a loss...

It was not confirmed, but Synman said that this is likely the case. A few pages back he basically said don't hold your breathes.

The phone call situation does not have to do with the APN settings, its a limitation within the hardware, developers are trying to work around it but it does not seem likely that we will be getting calls on the nexus 7.

So, I got a phone off ebay and the problem was advertised as "stuck at M screen", so I thought it just needed an SBF flash. However now that I did that it is still stuck on the same screen... could I have flashed the wrong sbf? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

so, i was trying to flash the custom recovery when i got an error... now i can get into recovery (sorta) but there is no picture. however, odin reads that it is connected. now whenever i try and flash the stock recovery it gets stuck at setupconnection... whats shoulds i's dos???
