LineageOS ftw I use LineageOS found here for some half a year without any issues as a daily driver. The only two things that i found missing are no vibration and the fact i can not find a way to activate Camera2API, so i can not use Gcam mods. But these are not really an issue tbh.

Still it is a perfectly capable and good phone. All we need is a good battery to last us another 3 years. Even as backup phone one needs good battery. So yes, the search continues. I bought a battery but it barely can hold a day of charge, so i am not recommending it. Anyone has better results?

I tried this script, but i didnt notice any change in SOT or longlivety of phone. I was on CM 12.1 by xiaobai, but i have moved on to this rom. I had around 2h of SOT and not more than 1.5 days on single charge. I just applied this one. Looking forward to see if reinstall with everything wiped...

Opo cam is not that good. some plugins crash the app, overall it is not as good as Cyanogen Camera imo. Are there any other good alternatives? And yes, would be nice if miui cam got ported.

I fixed shutter sound the dirty way: - go into /system/media/audio/ui - delete/rename camera_click.ogg - delete/rename camera_focus.ogg - delete/rename VideoRecord.ogg Panorama is low-res though. i wonder if that can be enhanced.

The Cyanogen Camera does seem to work very well. Thank you for pointing me there. Shutter sound can not be disabled, but that can be fixed. How did you manage to get slow-motion working? Will try Opo Cam as well.

I use CM. I would like to know about calls recording as well as that feature would be nice to have. Double tap to wake (DT2W) works in CM For me battery lasts about 1, max 2 days of use, not more. I do talk about 1-2h/day.
