Thanks. I posted here first, out of habit. I forgot to modify/delete this one when you answered me in the other forum. Thanks again for your help!

    Post [ROM][CM13] Teamsuperluminal's CyanogenMod 13 [DISCUSSION&DOWNLOAD][16.04.2016]

This might be a silly problem... I can't seem to disable the capacitive buttons using apps like soft buttons (root) or by manually editing the generic.kl file to comment out the capacitive buttons. Has anyone else had trouble doing this? I don't hate the capacitive buttons, but since I use...

    Post Overheating

Under load, the SD808 can get pretty warm. Add to that the fact that MIUI (in all of its various forms) is a steaming, overheated pile of rhinoceros feces and you have a terrible combination just asking for heating problems. TS CM13 does a pretty good job of mitigating the software issues...

Post Xiaomi official point of view regarding spare parts

Yup - when buying Chinese electronics outside of the supported market, there are risks. Those risks are greatly offset by the price. If you still need a display, GearBest has been advertising OEM replacement assemblies for about 35- 40 bucks.

    Post Mi4c Low camera quality

Unfortunately, it wasn't a difference in conditions. I had one phone in each hand in full daylight. By no means am I suggesting that the N5 is the best camera in the world, or that the Mi4c is terrible. The Mi4c clearly smokes the N5 in terms of how long it takea to start the camera, how fast...

    Post Mi4c TDD/mobile version

I just noticed the sticker on the back of mine says TD-LTE. I'm also in Europe, using bands 3/7 and it works fine. I've been using it for about a week and a half and LTE reception seems to be on par with my N5 and 2nd gen Moto X

    Post Mi4c Low camera quality

Which ROM are you using? I'm on TSCM 13.1 and Google camera doesn't seem to work well.. at least not the version I had on the phone (3.2 I think)

    Post Mi4c Low camera quality

Interesting. I find with the Mi4c that the pictures come out ok only if taken in full daylight and the subject is perfectly still. The N5 camera captures objects in motion. For example, my 2 year old splashing in the pool. The Mi4c will show the pool and surroundings well enough, but the kid and...

    Post Mi4c Low camera quality

The Mi4c camera seems to be on par with most other midrange Chinese phones. Coming from a Nexus 5, everything about this phone is an upgrade, except the camera - which is a shame because it's not like the N5 had the best camera ever - but it was still better under most conditions than the Mi4c

That happened to me as well. I ended up using the flash tool to downgrade. Just follow the instruction in the OP and it should work fine.

    Post [ROM][CM13] Teamsuperluminal's CyanogenMod 13 [DISCUSSION&DOWNLOAD][16.04.2016]

The SD808 can generate a pretty significant amount of heat. I don't do much gaming. I haven't noticed any excessive heat when watching videos with this ROM. With MIUI, the phone was in a pretty constant state of warmth whenever the screen was on. With CM, it's been pretty cool under most conditions.

    Post [ROM][CM13] Teamsuperluminal's CyanogenMod 13 [DISCUSSION&DOWNLOAD][16.04.2016]

I finished the last charge cycle at 15% with 6:20 SOT. Most of that was on wifi, but a couple hours were on LTE (wifi still on, just disconnected) It took 2 hours to charge back to 100%, at which point I left for a couple appointments. No signal in the subway and no signal in the buildings I...

    Post [ROM][CM13] Teamsuperluminal's CyanogenMod 13 [DISCUSSION&DOWNLOAD][16.04.2016]

One of the most common questions I see about ROMs is 'how is the battery life'. - so I figured I would chime in here. ~14 hours since the last charge, 25% battery left and 5:45 SOT. WiFi, data, BT and location services on. Screen at 50% with the auto/adaptive brightness.

Post Mi 4C Charging Current (simple test)

I wouldn't go so far as to say its useless. It charges the phone and allows for data transfer. Those are fairly useful things.

A big thank you to the OP. I spent only a few minutes dealing with the failure and bull**** of the official unlock method. Then I followed the instructions here and everything worked fine.

Post Mi 4C Charging Current (simple test)

So far the most effective combination for me has been aftermarket qc2.0 charger and factory cable. With that combo, charge times have been comparable to my moto x (2014) Using any of my micro USB cables with a type c adapter has resulted in substantially slower charge times, regardless of...

Post New case review for mi4C - The Original IPAKY Neo Hybrid

I used that case for a lenovo K3 note. With the note, options were limited and the ipaky looked nice. It lasted about 3 months and the plastic outer shell cracked and finally completely separated around the power button. The ipaky for the mi4c is slightly more robust - but veeeerrry slightly. I...

    Post Unlocking LTE Bands

For me, the reason is simple. If am connected to 3G/H+ I get 3GB of data from my carrier on my plan. If I am connected to 4G, I get 20GB (In addition to the 3GB of 3G/H+)

Post Letv le one pro x800

I don't think an official international version exists. At least thas what I gathered from talking to some LeTv support people on their forums. Everything sold outside of HK/China and India is considered gray market, as far as I can tell.

Post Letv le one pro x800

No, I decided not to order another one. I thought I could get past my dislike of 5.5 inch phones, but just too big for daily use for me. 5.2 inch seems to be the sweet spot, so that's where I'm focusing my attention at the moment - though that is presenting it's own set of challenges. I'm...

Post Letv le one pro x800

I cancelled the order, ordered another from gearbest that did indeed work on bands 3&7 ( 7 being the important one for me - Free mobile in central France). Update: A forum moderator sent me to the 'official' sales site here: http://cn.lemall.com/le_1pro/parameter.html Three variants listed. All three have the same FDD-LTE bands of 1/3/7 In today's email from tinydeal they told I that the phone ordered supports B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B12/B17/B25/B26...

Post Letv le one pro x800

Im really not sure. Too many conflicting reports. I think I'm going to cancel my order in the morning. I asked about the bands on the official tech support Le forum, and they referred me to their Hong Kong forum while completely dodging the question.

Post Letv le one pro x800

I am a little confused here. Both TD and gear best carry the 1 pro. Gearbest shows that the phone has band 7 (2600) and until today, tiny reflected that as well. 6 days after ordering from tinydeal, I have received an email from them stating the phone does NOT support band 7. Every other...

Post [Letv x800] RuschROM (Nexus port)

I am also keeping an eye on this thread. I have a 64gb model on order. I couldn't pass it up given the price to hardware ratio. I do hope there is an M release forthcoming. I've used nexus devices almost exclusively for the past few years. This will be a bit of an experiment for me. A big thank...

Post Does anyone have the Vowney Lite (Battery runtime, Performance,...)

I guess I should add that shipping times from both tinydeal and gearbest have been all over the map the past few months. My nephew ordered a phone from tinydeal's EU warehouse and it took 2 months to get from Germany to France. My wife ordered a watch from gearbest UK that never arrived. To...

I've used tinydeal a lot, but recently I've also had good luck with gearbest.com. They list both models of the Vowney, but state they won't be shipping until March. I might try to be patient and wait for the P9000. It's pretty.

    Post Zuk 1 camera interpolation?

This has been the biggest thing stopping me from ordering one. On paper, the camera should be pretty damned good. Reviews have been extremely mixed, but it seems that reviewers only use the CM camera app, which has always been somewhere between 'meh' and terrible. How does this phone do with...

Just flashed this ROM on my tf101. So far it is pretty nice. Battery drain is a little higher than it was when sock/rooted, but I expected that based on reading this thread.
