I don't think that we will ever see camera2 api on our device. The only chance is a porting from Miui (apparently present in the nougat version), but as I know it's nearly impossible since we don't have the proper sources. But we can always dream :o

I've tried with xiaomi.eu stable ROM. I have the same values. I think that it is regular, since even in the play store's images you can see the same.

You don't have to wipe your "sdcard" folder when you install a new ROM. When you wipe data you only lose your app data and system's one, but your sdcard will not change.. EDIT: Just to be more clear, these are the only wipes you need when you flash a ROM.

Have you tried in recovery to "format system"? I think that it is one of the best ways to clean your phone, even if the deepest would be doing all the possible wipe in TWRP menu.
