Dial *#*#7378423#*#* Then click "Service Info" and press "SIM Lock" If all the 5 words,ending with "0" means your phone is not carier locked

Is it still rebooting in fastboot mode? If it's not, try a reflash of ftf. Choose to include wipe user and system..

Not impossible but highly unlikely that a new battery is doa. Check voltage, just to be sure. Have you checked all connections to the battery?

There is a small chance that a new flash of the boot.img can help. If the phone has been flashed with wrong img (usualy falty root/recovery procedure), it might help.

Nothing in the SD slot? (if it is, remove it) Try leaving it connected to a charger for like 2-3 hours. Connect to charger, hold power and volume up. Then let it be after the 3 vibrations.

If it is a softbrick, then the USB is a requirement to fix the problem.

So.. The flashing was successful, no disconnections during flash? No success wilt powerbutton and volume up, wait for the vibrations. Then restart?

Have you tried to flash new ftf with flashtool?

I lost root with my first 6.0.1 flash. I used fastboot to download 5.1 (same version ru/au/kz), Flashed that and rooted. I don't know I I was lucky, but imei was kept intact.

Use fastboot to do a rollback to 5.1, do the root. And then install recovery. After that it's just to flash 6.0.1 ftf and recrootv4.

Recroot v3 works flawlessly on my tablet, with locked bootloader. Flash ftf and then recrootv3, reboot.. Done

I made a small mistake when formating internal sd with Phils Touch recovery, i wiped the hole shebang " Format for a new rom install". (whoops, kinda...) I went into download mode and made a "update and init" in Kies, typed the info from backside of phone and got a fresh install from Samsung...

That was a bust... No change.

I got it when i rooted my tab. I think root access is required for cwm btw...

I had that problem "your device can not be updated via kies", but that was resolved by doing the steps in the previous posts. Now Kies shows my rom as a original samsung rom. I think the problem is that i (we) run 2.3.3 rom and there are no uppgrade present right now.

Filen man laddar ner har .pit inne i .tar filen så man väljer bara den i PDA och strunta i resten. Ingen re-partition men Autoreboot och F reset time ska vara med. (Om man väljer re-partition så fastnar man i download mode pga korrupt filsystem) Jag förstår inte varför men det fungerade för mig...

Jag fick det att fungera Jag hade samma problem. Det löste sig för mig när jag först flashade GB-Stock-Safe-v5.zip Gick in i recovery mode och Wipe user/factory reset. Sedan flashade jag en zip från programmet CheckFusDownloader_v2.1, efter det så flashade jag om GB-Stock-Safe-v5.zip igen...
