yeah this is what i did, I do adb pull to view my build.prop and it is edited, i launched shell and done the chmod 644 still no dice, device still showing as 6P

The volume works like there is a difference between max and low but low doesn't really go low enough. Maybe just need to tweak how many db it lowers per each increment or ad more increments in.

Bands are hardware related but you need the firmware to tell the hardware what to do hence why a patch for the D6653 would enable those bands as firmware is part of the ROM. If you have a D6653 you can't use the other bands unless you have firmware to enable them. Someone can correct me but...

You don't need the D6653 patch unless your provider uses LTE bands 28 or 40. LTE reception is bad in my area anyway so I leave it disabled to save battery.

I can confirm this too, did a factory reset and tried to install 8.5 and then 9.0 Something went very wrong with the D6653 patch the old V2 one worked fine. When I get back to my PC I will try and restore my phone to stock firmware and try your new updated patch.

I got a black screen and had to reboot while listening to music, I've had the same thing on my Z3 about 3 times before on different ROMs might just be an intermittent hardware or kernel problem, I'm not too concerned as I've only encountered it 3 times in 10 months

I had this problem and noticed it was only on screens that had "ok google" recognition. I just disabled the ok google feature as I never use it. Hope that helps.

I noticed this too, also after I finished the call my left earphone stopped playing music until I rebooted. Not sure what caused it. I'm using Viper for sound settings. Might try and see if I can replicate it. Could also be an issue with my earphones.

Thanks man, I just noticed that if I have headphones in and I'm on an "ok google" enabled screen I can hear everything through the mix on my headphones. I'll wait until you edit the build.prop and it should be fine. Good job

I'm on stock kernel and have a locked bootloader, I turned it on with the selinux permissive app.

I'm on D6653 with selinux set to permissive and I can make calls just fine.

Just had my 5th battery drain incident today haven't even had the watch for a month. I'm running the latest version of the gear app and sw3 OS. Pretty sick of this. Didn't even have WiFi on. I'm going to contact Sony.

I get the same issue, Google photos doesn't have write access to SD to allow it to delete photos from SD card. Looking at reviews on the play store it appears Google removed the permission in a recent update. I could delete photos using quickpic. Sent from my D6603 using XDA Free mobile app
