I have the same issue. Had it on stock and it persists on this rom. I don't think it's isolated to just calls. I see it the worst after listening to music or watching YouTube. The only remedy I have so far is to reboot the device when I'm done listening to music for a while. The battery...

I work at Best Buy, and we just got the Moto branded shield in our store yesterday. A single one. Which I bought. But be on the lookout!

1. Turn off ambient mode 2. Set brightness to 1 3. Limit screen on time by disabling notifications on apps you don't really need to view from the watch, and always covering the display to turn off manually when you are done looking at it.

Definitely had issues like this. I ultimately exchanged it (got lucky with Best Buy having it in stock) but I read here that you may want to reset it, and charge it while its completely off, to full battery, Before trying to sync and use it. My defective 360 wouldn't even factory reset, so YMMV.

Same thing happened to me. I was fortunate enough to be able to exchange it at Best Buy, although I feel bad now because it may not have been defective after all, but I panicked. It wouldn't charge, wouldn't show up as a Bluetooth device, and wouldn't pair, sync, or update.

Any chance you gave it a good twist?

It's probably the apps, not root. A lot of sideloaded apps aren't going to work (newest ES file explorer included) simply because they aren't designed for the Ouya. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
