I'm experiencing this as well after the most recent update and it's killing me. My usage of the Ouya relies pretty heavily on ES File Explorer and after this last update it force closes every time I try to open it. Hoping a solution is found fast.

Just wanted to let you know that the Preserver worked perfectly this time. Was able to install today's update and kept root and Play Store functionality. Just had to reinstall busybox. Guess reinstalling CWM recovery did the trick. Thank you very much for this mod collection.

'adb shell' does indeed show "$". The device is a kickstarter edition. Didn't even think to try the test version since it was an older version. Worked like a charm. Now rooted with recovery installed. Thanks for the awesome toolbox. Let me know if you need any more information.
