I tried about:useragent on my galaxy note but websites still load in the mobile version. I also tried downloading doplhin browser and setting the string to desktop but still no luck. I just rooted my phone but i did not think that would affect the browser. Any suggestions?

I installed the atrix task manager on the samsung infuse but I can't get it to actually end tasks even though it loads the applications and everything else. Has anybody else tried?
