Im currently using viper4android without any problem. You need to install following applications in following order after rooting the headunit: 1) supersu 2)busybox 3)viper4android Im not using HondaHack, just rooted the device and did not install the honda hack. (i think i dont need it...)...

You should be able to add network manually, where you can type your hidden SSID. I'll check it out and let you know.

Yes, your rom is the latest global rom. No idea will this rom be available via OTA.

Installed the rom yesterday. Android auto is finally working for me. Notification icons are available too.
