I've come across that before. And yeah, can't get into settings. Can't even get past the first screen when signing in.
I guess I'll try the OP. I'm really mad at Amazon for not rectifying this but I will try this. I appreciate the help.
Any other info?
Hi! Anyone get anywhere unblacklisting the 4K sticks? Mine is just a paperweight after buying it new from Amazon. They said it was reported lost and I was not able to fix the situation with them.
Google Voice not ringing or vibrating upon receiving a call. Screen pops up but that's it.
Third ROM I've tried on this phone and it's the same with all of them. I tried messing around with notification settings but no luck whatsoever. I have no clue what the hell the issue it but it's entirely...
Strange issue here. Google Voice doesn't ring or vibrate when getting a phone call. The Answer screen comes up but that's it.
Incredibly annoying. Any ideas?
I figured it out. It's actually this:

What a dumb move. Now we've gotta wait until Q releases for a fix. I can live with it like this, luckily. But it's still pretty annoying when I'm biking and have to manually...
Like I said, signal strength seems mostly okay. Might just be placebo. The bigger issue is, let's say I'm connected to my ISPs Wi-Fi outside. I walk a few blocks, it disconnects. That's normal. What's supposed to happen is, when I get closer to another Wi-Fi tower, Android is supposed to...
It's not something easy to test for. Just as someone that uses Wi-Fi 24/7, I notice the difference when walking/biking around town. I'm positive something has changed in Pie. I just don't know what exactly. Pretty annoying. My signal strength is mostly fine, it's the fact that the Wi-Fi doesn't...
So, simple question. Did something get changed on Pie where Wi-Fi just seems way less reliable. It just seems like it polls less, antenna is less strong/signal. I have to manually turn the phone on and check if the Wi-Fi is even connected sometimes, wayyy more than I ever had to do on Oreo...

Awesome. Welp, gonna try to flash over AOSP. thank you

Just did it. Everything seems okay so far. Thank you! I mostly just didn't want to reconfigure my **** and stuff after starting from scratch already.
Hi, can I go from AOSP version to CAF without deleting everything? Dirty install, I mean. I had installed the wrong version. I recommend making it easier to differentiate the versions on the download and mirror pages.
Thanks!
So, every time I update LOS 15.1, I have to reflash Magisk. Kinda annoying. It didn't always do this. Any ideas?
Also, separate question, for some reason TWRP doesn't see my zip files anywhere except MagiskModules folder. Very weird.
Nope, phone was brand new from Xiaomi. It's not that important but it is something I wanted to try.
Also, I have to reflash Magisk every time I update LOS.
Only started happening since I flashed Orange Fox recovery then went back to TWRP for reasons I mentioned last week.
Any way to not have...
I have this same exact problem. While not that much of a hassle, it's incredibly annoying.
It broke when decrypt broke/failed on a build months ago and hadn't been the same since.
Any fix?
Edit* gonna try orangefox! Just found out about that. Thanks, I'll get back to you!
Yup. Tried all that. Force close with any camera app and flashlight under notification bar is greyed out. Def. strange as I didn't do anything different. Never have issues updating.
Wow, after 3 weeks of not being able to get into TWRP, this actually worked! What do you guys think caused this in the first place? I just updated to the latest LOS now! THANK YOU!
So, I'm still getting "Failed to decrypt." On TWRP when trying to update. Can't access the filesystem whatsoever. I thought this newest update would've fixed the issue from all the prior complaints last week or so.
Not sure what the problem is. Only thing I did different was format my SD card...
Huh, weird issue this morning. Saw the new update, downloaded it thru the LineageOS Updater app notification on my phone, clicked install, rebooted itself to TWRP (so far so good), then asked me for my encryption PIN which is now somehow wrong? I can't boot into TWRP anymore or see my files in...
