What's in the Device Status field?(Settings>About Device>Status) If it says anything else than Official then you will need to reflash a stock ROM from Sammobile. (Same or newer ONLY!)

i9505 here and no charging problems, nor after using OTG. Super smooth, lag free and no BSoD since yesterday with stock settings after clean flash(yay!!) Thanks again to side and all the JDCTeam and the test team.

What I find out is when no active connection is found the tethering work, but as soon as you activate one(Wifi/Cell data) it just goes out and resets the USB connection I think is that the possible culprit is the RIL or the ROM which is based on nighties, not the modems. ---------- Post added...

PA1 since Bom_Bom_ posted it in his post. I've been pretty lazy to update it and when i was going to do that I have seen in a number of posts that peoples are having problems with newer one such as PG1 and PK2

I know it's illogical but try to revert to a modem that's a bit older than your actual modem.(For your variant of course xD) I'm a i9505 owner and people reported that newer modems just breaks the tethering and mine is working with one that's a bit older.

Well that sounds like the phone is clogged up... try changing something in Stweaks. A trial and error but I ended up with Only changing I/O scheduler and CPU Min freq. Your phone may vary so as i said before just trial and error till you find a fluid combo. ---------- Post added at 07:55 PM...

Hehe it seems that my rule of thumb worked... If it ain't too old or broke don't fix it. xD Cuz seeing those phone bricking updates from Sammy for Note7 users raised my suspicion that they may leak/release some bad modems to "break" our phones.
