I wouldn't get my hopes up as we're almost at that 2 year mark where oneplus doesn't have to update op5/t anymore, hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not that confident in them doing so

The kernel is the smoothest one I've ever tried, but I can only manage to get 4 hours SOT with my usage, I'll try tomorrow with the stock one from the latest open beta of op5 and I'll report if the issue is my battery or not

To disable the wake on double tap you have to use Ex Kernel Manager (or something like that), go in Gestures and disable DoubleTap2Wake

How does gcam work? Is the dotfix working like on oreo or it's the same as the P-GSI where it does nothing?

Yeah it should work with pretty much any android phone

Download using Android Download Manager and you are good to go

Yeah I know, as I said in the thread I wanted to make an app that was able to change all of this but in the end I wasn't able to I do have the sounds from an Xperia XZ 2 but, as I said, they come from SwiftKey, so I asked the developers the permission to use them but they still have to reply me

It's so weird that we have to rely on root to change such a small thing like the sounds our keyboards make, maybe in newer releases of Android a developer will think about this

Apparently Xperia doesn't have custom sounds but uses SwiftKey, I'll ask the developers if I can take those sounds

Later today I'll search for it and update the thread with that too! I'm not entirely sure that they are different sounds, I'll look forward into this!

Since I thought that the keyboard sounds inside Android stock are pretty awful, I made this handy Magisk module to change whenever you like, it doesn't do anything special but I think that if you really like to customize Android, you really should do in every possible way as easily as possible...

Congratulation man, that's wonderful that this is now official! One thing, on aospexperience site the op5 has it's own section, so there are 2 oneplus groups:

1. Flash the latest firmware from ob9 to fix it, had the same issue in AICP and that's how I fixed it. 2. I have no clue on what could be the issue, substratum maybe? 3. That's how screen recording works, you can't record system audio, only the one coming off your speaker or the one captured...

I'm unencrypted, I was on the latest beta of OOS before flashing AICP. Anyway, build 29/04 bootloops for me, after I see the lockscreen I'm stuck there for a few seconds without a background and after a while it just restarts, sometimes it shows the battery percentage which is at 0% but in TWP...

I am sure that I didn't enable any audio mod, nor exposed. And I'm definetly using the stock kernel that the rom comes with. One thing on build 28/4 is that I can hear the system sounds (when I tap on stuff or keyboard if it has sound) but media sound is just absent

Oh, I'm dumb, well, one thing is out of the way since it's now showing the icon when I connect the headphones but they still aren't playing any sound, I disabled AudioFX too just to be sure it's not getting in the way

Well, this is weird, I'm pretty sure the headphone jack still works fine but headphones aren't recognised at all from the phone because there is no headphone icon in the statusbar nor the volume warning when I raise it

Hi, I just flashed the latest rom and seems to be flying except for the fingerprint recognition, it seems like it's slow, or the animation to show up the screen it is slow. Am I the only one who is experiencing this?
