You're right, it's not a bug of the firmware. The culprit is a dictionary app. When it reaches the alarm time, the dictionary pushes a "Word of the Day" notification. When I touch the alarm icon in the quick action panel, it pushes a notification of "Word of the Day" from the dictionary app...

The fake alarm will not ring. The bug is only that an fake alarm shows in the status bar and quick action panel(fully scrolled down).

The alarm indeed works, but even if I haven't set an alarm, there is an alarm icon ⏰ in the status bar. If you fully scroll down the quick action panel, you will find an alarm of "6:30 PM" in the upper left corner.(actually there's no alarms set) This bug persists in the latest build (12-19-2020)

Perhaps my statement was incorrect. Settings won't be lost, but the preferences I have already set are lost. In other words, the settings are volatile. After a reboot, the system can't remember my preferences. For example, I turned on "Swap Buttons", but after a reboot, it's off.

You misunderstood me. I mean even after a reboot the settings are lost(initially I thought it's after a firmware upgrade the settings are lost), and it's not an issue about firmware flashing. I reflashed the firmware, but the problem persists.

Some settings in "OnePlus Settings" are lost after a firmware upgrade. After a firmware flash, settings for "DC-Dimming", "High brightness mode" and "Swap Buttons" are lost, and other settings in "OnePlus Settings" are preserved.
