Thread 360° camera not working with latest camera update?

Since last week's camera update my 360° camera isn't working anymore. When I attach it, nothing at all happens, camera app doesn't open and if I open it manually, it doesn't show any hint of the 360° camera being attached. Anybody experiencing the same? Any hints on how to fix it? I tried...

Post Essential Oreo Beta Program is Live

So far everything works perfectly smooth to the point that I am tempted to say it is less beta than the latest official nougat release. Only thing is that the battery drains about twice as fast, after 12hrs and 2.5hrs SOT I'm at 52%, usually around 80% with nougat at that point. But that was...

Why is media sharing disabled here...? Well, without screenshots then, LOTS of Bluetooth options under the developer options, codec, bit rate, ... Post Essential Phone vs Oneplus 5

I have both devices with me, and the OnePlus is definitely my favourite. The Essential has three advantages over the OnePlus: nicer build materials (not quality, the OnePlus has splendid build quality, too, just not the fancy materials), smaller, monochrome camera sensor. In every other aspects...

At least Motorola claims it supports QuickCharge if I'm not mistaken. Apparently, though, it also has additional requirements for turbo charging to kick in... I looked at the Verizon charger, too, but a) there's not much info on its website, b) calling Verizon didn't help - they don't have a...

    Post ART on droid turbo

    Post ART on droid turbo

Why buggy and broken? Besides the optimization on boot, for which we don't know whether it's a bug or has its reasons, art runs great on the turbo. Nope, settings app storage. You can either clean/reset them in Settings>Backup & Reset>Reset Preferences or edit the database directly (gives you direct control on what you want to reset/change, needs reboot for settings to be reread - and of course always bears the risk of breaking something)...

With a store the size of Best Buy I would expect they can handle an inventory. But that's another story. I got tired of Best Buy and Motorola on that. Best Buy refuses to reserve or purchase online, meaning you have to go to a store hoping to be lucky (chances are slim), and I definitely have better things to do than driving around all day checking stores. Motorola apparently isn't capable of...

I'd be careful with dead cheap higher capacity batteries... Post Lag causing temporary dead touch spots?

Post Lag causing temporary dead touch spots?

Many have suggested that the throttling causes the lag. The phone throttles when it becomes too hot, right?
