ya, i did that, went back to my backuped 2.3.3 stock rom. i guess i have to say, all custom roms have some bugs, so u cant use them if u want just stable and reliable use of ur phone. if anyone can suggest a custom rom with no freezes, crashes, and most functionality working, ill be very happy...

i see it is an old post, but if u still need some app for proxy settings (with authentication) i recommend using PRoxyDroid I use it over my college network and it works fine it is a free app just google for 'proxydroid apk' incase u want to install it from apk u need to root ur phone to use...
