Yes, install HardSpl first on your X1. Then you are free to install any custom ROM. Make sure you read the entire thread before installing any custom ROM. Most have small bugs. The thread's contents usually give the solutions to any problems. Good Luck cwh

Best way to learn this stuff is read read read. Go to the ROM section and read all the Sticky's, HardSPL your device first. Then you will be able to install/Flash custom ROM's. I use itje's v7.1, works great. cwh
