One more post. Tried three different cables now (Nokia, HTC One, and the Note 3 cable). Tried all the different ports on my iMac (I'm on VMWARE Windows 8) Tried downloading a stock ROM, tried Flashing with N9005 KSA version. Got the same exact error, Complete(Write) operation failed

In my case I didn't have KIES running. I've also uninstalled it to be sure. Kies seems to be useless since it doesn't event detect the note 3 as a supported device.

thanks for that, I've gone ahead and downloaded the KSA version since I bought mine in Qatar and there was no Qatar ROM. Just to be clear, what's the best way to flash it to my phone?
