Dont worry, we on the right way, we need time to break this security. Flashing only system and data images cannot brick the phone, if it will not boot after this, recovery and bootloader will work and you always can load official firmware back.

Not only SD845 needed to receive FM. Antenna filter and RF hardware part also needed. Main PCB for nex is completely new design and if there is no nex version with FM, no need to add additional hardware to pcb, that will be not used. This rises the price of manufacturing.

Today i try to unblock boot-loader in my nex. It can be unblocked, but there is red appointment in the notification bar, that cannot be cleared until doing reverse action - lock boot-loader and turn off the developer mode. AF Tools can connect to my phone, but i cant extract the images from it...

There is no FM Radio hardware on Vivo nex, so that app will be useless on Vivo NEX.

You can disable any app using adb.

Only if vivo give us appropriate source codes. Or all specific peripherals, especially pop-up camera and fingerprint will be not working. The problem is not with loading itself, OEM drivers are needed to compile stock android for using with this device.

There is no burn-in danger in AoD mode, because of low brightness. Have used it on my previous phone - no problems with display after three years.

Some good news. After enabling developer options, we can see a slider "OEM Unlocking" Allow the bootloader to be unlocked. After enabling this slider go to fastboot and execute command 'fastboot oem unlock" After this we can flash recovery and other partitions using fastboot flash command.

An update for using with QFIL contains only images mbn/img and .xml config files. Some images from normal full ROM in .zip format (for install using stock recovery) are identical to those from split version, but for using it with QFIL you need some other important files, partition table...

There is no split version of global ROM for now. Only chinese. But if it will be available - no problem to flash it via QPST/QFIL.
