You need to flash latest available stock rom on your device. I guess your device is note 2 gt7100 then in this case flash stock rom using pc odin v1.85. You will get signals and imei back at the cost of all data on internal storage (so take a back of your data first). Sent from my SM-N910C...

Update to latest agni kernel. Set governer of agni to lulzactive and check if problem is resolved. If this problem still remains, install app " KEEP SCREEN ON" from play store and set it to keep screen on while using file manager/ downloader etc.
