Update : So I got my phone back from the service centre. They have changed the usb component and now everything's working fine.

Took it to service center where after 2 hrs of investigation, they ruled it as a strange hardware issue ans have asked for 3-4 days for getting and replacing the faulty part. It is 2nd day today, will comment again once i get my phone back.

This is a common issue with CM based roms on note 2. There is a work-around for this. Whenever you boot your phone, press the volume keys to make that volume adjustment sound. That's it. Your call will work fine after that. Note : Do this everytime you boot the phone. ---------- Post added at...

wifi issue I clean flashed v2, but i am getting connection timeout on wifi. Even while downloading any app from playstore on wifi, it stops abruptly. On mobile data it works fine. Anybody else experiencing it?

If you are rooted, then just download any CPU monitoring app. I personally use Rom Toolbox. In CPU/Processor settings in the app, you will find "Governer" and a list of available governers to choose from. Let me know if you still have trouble finding it. TIP : Don't set Governer to "Powersave"...
