I have not. I've looked for the simpl kernal you mentioned in the main post, but couldn't find a link to it. Is a custom kernel required?

    Post 5.0.1]G/F[tw]Nameless[Rom/Kernel]V5-Aroma*MultiDpi/CSC*OTA*Light*Fast*BatteryFriendly

How to flash I've flashed ROM's before without a problem, but I'm having a bit of trouble with this one. The version of the GN4 I'm using is the N910F. I've put my phone into a bootloop. I've tried pushing the boot loader using Odin (Selected the BL option for the pushing? Not sure if that's...

Thread [Q] SNote deleting note being worked on?

I was sitting in uni today writing notes on my tablet, taking voice notes of the lecture for each page. About 10 minutes before the lecture ends, the note exits out back to the first UI view of SNote and didn't save ANY of my notes taken for that lecture (was done all in the one snote file)...

Post SM-N910F "No Sim Inserted" Issues

I'm not sure how I'd clean it, exactly. So I just sorta blew on it, and the tray. If it happens again I'll probably just get a new SIMcard. The SIM is barely a year old, so it's a bit of a pain if I'll have to get a new one. However, it'd cost me nothing to get a new one, anyway. Thanks a lot...

Thread SM-N910F "No Sim Inserted" Issues

As the title suggests, my phone is coming up with "No SIM Inserted" warnings, and forces me to restart two or three times to get the problem to go away. This happens pretty much daily, at the minimum. Restarting takes an annoying amount of battery and time, so it's a bit of a pain. The SIM...

    Post Note 4 speaker quality?

Well, my Note 4 at just the first level of volume is enough to bring a uni lecture to a stand still if it accidentally goes off. It's ridiculously loud. However I think there's currently a bug in with the notification sound. While level 1 is ridiculously loud, there isn't much difference between...

Post Rather odd error-No Service (Gt-N8010)

You've done what I've done; installed a custom ROM designed for the N8000 series, which contains the telephony applications required for using the SIM card and all the related features. I'm looking for a fix myself, but this device is a year and a half old so people have probably moved off it...

    Post Missing S Planner APK

Well, I know that you can't use any of the S Widgets on launchers other than the Touchwiz one - even if TW is installed. The dev of the ROM said that the framework hasn't been touched, and that he only removed all the bloat and themed the ROM. So, it could be that Touchwiz is a prerequisite for...

    Post Missing S Planner APK

No, actually. It doesn't. That never occurred to me, and explains a lot. It's a heavily deoxed stock ROM. But I use X-Note Zero Edition. I'll just find the touchwiz launcher from somewhere and use that.

    Post Missing S Planner APK

Yeah I uninstalled it with Root Uninstaller. I don't use titanium backup. I've tried using an adb terminal but they don't seem to work the way they should, and I can't find the one I used before haha.

    Post Missing S Planner APK

Thanks for that. :) Unfortunately it refuses to install. At first it was a conflict with the google calander, and now it just refuses to. I'll probably try and find a way to push it, or manually move it in.

    Thread Missing S Planner APK

Well, the title sorta describes it all. I'm missing the S Planner APK after installing a new ROM. I think the S Planners actually really good and would like it back, because I use it quite a bit. Sadly, I can't find it anywhere on the internet. Would anyone be kind enough to upload for me their...

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

Link2SD and similar apps don't actually work anymore on devices released after a certain point. I'm not sure of the reason as to why, though. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But, I think the way the system recognises the mounts is different now as compared to what it was in Gingerbread...

Post [MOD]App2SD Script! - Use 64GB microSD for App Data on Note 10.1!

1.) He was more than likely using a 32gb card 2.) exFat is Microsoft's solution to FAT32. The main difference is that it's a more efficient for system. The fat32 structure can only handle files up to 4gb in capacity, as where the exFat system does not have a limit on what size of file it can...

Post GT-N8010 Jelly Bean 4.1.1 finally landed!

Nope. The 8010 doesn't have telephony in it, so the official build has it all removed. And yeah, I realise this probably should have been in the general section. I'm a bit of a failure some times, haha.

Post Usb to bluetooth for usb controller n mouse?

You could buy a USB OTG controller. You plug it in to the 30 pin port on your tab and then just plug in whatever USB you want. If you buy a powered USB hub, you could plug in the hub to the tablet and then both devices into the hub. It would have to be a powered usb hub, though. As the note...

Okay, so, I've been monitoring the sammobile website for quite some time now, waiting for the 4.1.1 release on the WiFi only model of our lovely note. And, I left it for a few days. To my surprise - IT'S OUT! :D It hit Germany, first. And now Taiwan. Link for the German build on sammobile is...

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

Your device doesn't need to be rooted, so it's not relevant. :) I'm still on unrooted ICS, too, as the JB hasn't been launched for the N801* versions yet. There was an ICS update early on to correct the flawed exFAT drivers.

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

I don't know how people seem to be getting this strange formatting issue where it goes to 32gb. :s But, my suggestion would be to format it with your device, then insert it into your computer. I'd then refer you to this thread for partitioning. Not everyone's able to get Jelly Bean, yet. As...

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

I have no idea, if I'm honest. I'm not a developer. Well, on Android at least. I'd suggest contacting the ROM developer and asking what support it has. I'm not sure if the CM team added support for exFAT. But, as with NTFS I'm sure you could download drivers since you have root.

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

I'd account that to all of the issues plauging the samsung drivers and kies, then. Just a guess, though. The program is shockingly bad and the drivers right now are buggy to the point that most peoples devices don't work with the PC. But at least you have a temporary solution. It may just be a...

Post 100 NFC tags for 25p per one

Yes, they are. Unless you program them to be locked. Message me and I'm sure we can work something out. ^.^ This could probably done, but in all likelihood you would fry the ROM chip in the progress, or damage ot or the antenna in some way. The keychain tags are glued together down the...

Post 100 NFC tags for 25p per one

With NFC Task Launcher you can program as many as you want into it. Same with all the others. With the launcher I mentioned, there's also an option to have what they call a "switch" tag. Which is pretty much a toggle tag. Scan it once, it carries out one set of instructions, scan it again and it...

Post 100 NFC tags for 25p per one

It should easily work. The cases don't affect the signal. The only way it'd affect it is if it was made of metal. Which would be silly, because then that'd ruin your phones signal too! The seller does them in card form, too. But I'm sure if you tried messaging in you may be able to work...

Post 100 NFC tags for 25p per one

Actually, no. I mean it quite literally. The size of the tags are 1KB as where NFC Task Launcher only uses small bytes at a time. You'd need to write a huge amount of tasks to the one tag to fill its capacity. Which is a really good thing. They certainly do. I have the Zenus Prestige Neo...

Okay, so the as some of you may be aware, Samsung have started pushing out the N7105 4.1.2 update. I don't know why your Es File Explorer won't work. But, all APP2SD support was pulled from googles API, in some attempt to wipe it out. Well, from what I've been able to gather. You'd need to be rooted and push an init.d script. The one I used when my device was rooted is below...

Post 64GB MicroSD Card - The how-to guide!

Szadzik is correct. exFAT is a file system with no limit on what it can handle. This isone of the main reasons why it was introduced. Its just so much more efficient than its FAT32 counterpart.
