Post [APK] Google Camera Port with Portrait Mode / HDR+ and many more features

Tried the apk attached in the OP but tha app always crashed. On doing some research, landed up on this thread. Downloaded the latest version (v8.3b) and the app works flawlessly! You can check my initial impressions here. Enjoy!

    Post [APPS] Google's Cameras Ports [2 VERSIONS][HDR+][PORTRAIT MODE][DISCONTINUED]

V8.3b is working fine on the S7 Edge Exynos. Tested portrait mode (both front and rear). Overall image quality is as good as the original Samsung camera on my S7 edge. The colors are a little on the cooler side as compared to the original camera. Although I'll test it more extensively soon. But...

It works fine for me. You need to select it in aroma while flashing the rom. If I remember correctly, there were two options : game launcher and game tools, select them both and everything will work fine. (Note: I'm not sure about the names of the options to be selected in aroma, just select...

Didn't work. Copies all the folders from 'panelsedge' to system/priv-apps but nothing happened. Also, I can't seem to find a way to turn on heads-up notification. It was turned on right after setup, but I turned it off. Now I can't turn it back on. Any idea how do I do that?

https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/kernel-tgpkernel-t3501571 This is the link to the kernel thread. Download the latest oreo version and just flash in TWRP. You can wipe dalvik/cache (recommended) after flashing the kernel. That's all you need to do. :)

Face unlock will work. No iris scanner on the phone so iris unlock obviously won't work. There's no OTA on custom Roms. You might be able to dirty flash the updated version of the rom, but again, that isn't recommended (as mentioned by the dev few pages back).

I'm on TGP and it's much much better than moro. On moro phone used to heat up and battery drain was unbearable. But on TGP, I've zero heating issues and the battery life is far better than before. I'm on v6.1.

Post [ROM] Sac23 S9 Ported Rom Updated v7

Everyone is facing this issue. Use Google Messages or any 3rd party messaging app. All oreo roms on S7 are facing tremendous battery drain. We'll have to wait for an update to the rom base or maybe a new kernel to fix the battery drain. As of now, there's not much you can do.

TGP Kernel So the TGP kernel for Oreo was released, but the description says its for Stock roms and Hybrid roms (See attachment) I wasn't sure if the S9 ported roms count as hybrid. Will the kernel work in this rom?

Post [ROM] Sac23 S9 Ported Rom Updated v7

Yes there is. Link is in the OP. Battery drain issue exists on all the Oreo roms for S7 edge. But this rom has probably the best battery life among all other roms. The performance is EPIC too. Atleast the phone doesn't heat up as much as on other Oreo roms.

If you are on BatMan rom, don't worry about anything else. The BatMan rom doesn't have the OEM option. Do not think about bootloader or kernel or anything. Just download the rom from the OP and flash it. You'll be completely fine, and super happy with the rom! :)

Battery life for me is pretty good, after a few days of usage. After Social media, movies, YouTube, and minor gaming, I get 5+ hours of SoT, on a 2 year old battery. So no complaints from my side. Also, I've greenified some apps and used Titanium Backup to freeze some other unwanted apps.
