If the microphones are maxing out then there's nothing any app could do to fix it. You'll need to muzzle the microphone holes somehow, perhaps your fingers might be enough. There are holes at both ends of the phone because it's stereo input.

I agree, the edit button has very little functionality. All it allows you to do is add or remove apps from the list. Can you reorder them by holding then dragging? Sent from my GT-N7100

I'm having the same experience, coming from a Galaxy S1 (which wouldn't last a day) its really disconcerting to go to bed and still have 40% battery left!
