Yes you can mate, I have it on mine and is running as good as ever. Only thing I changed was the build.prop so at the interface it shows Inspire 4G instead of Desire HD, ridiculous but is the way I like it, also changed the Kernel to 8.7 b2 CFS cuz was having issues with the 8.9 at this latest...

In my opinion should be the tweaks made by Victoryo, there are tinny things that makes the difference between this ROM and straight CM7, cant point you on what exactly the changes are. But you can compare the change log from this ROM with CM7 and confirm it yourself, also not to mention to try...
