Well, all I was asking for is an option for this. People respond in their own conversations, so it's useful to do this to maintain continuity (for me). GO SMS pro has this option. However GO also recognizes contact groups, both google's and its own, so group sending is not a problem.

New version does not crash on startup. Thank you very much! 88sms loads messages in a conversation about half a second longer compared to stock JB messenger, which is near instant. Not really a big deal, though would be nice if the delay is reduced.

For me it's not just the initial loading of the app, which takes around 3 seconds, it is also having to wait to load individual conversations (if you switch from the conversation that is loaded initially). Even with limited messages option checked, it takes SM forever to do what is near instant...

Even with this option checked I still get the "loading" spinner when switching conversations. Stock Messaging app (JB 4.1.2) loads conversations near-instantaneously and scrolling the entire list is smooth with no discernible loading periods. Scrolling on Sliding Messaging is still sluggish...

Still getting the "invisible dialpad". Steps to reproduce: 1. Tap-scroll through call log (the dialpad is removed by this action) 2. Tap on dialpad icon on the bottom action bar. 3. About even chance of the dialpad showing up visible or invisible.

Have you even looked at when Juice Defender was last updated? That app hasn't been anything but a placebo for ages now, and that's at best. There's been reports of it actually causing problems and higher battery consumption on some 4.* devices.

I believe what he means, and I agree, is that the app should always open to the conversations list (left panel) if that is the option you have selected. Currently, if you have a new unread text, the app opens to that text instead of opening into the left panel.

Thanks, but I think that's not the same. A symbolic link is a 'folder' in one place on your device that points to another folder. You can chose it as a location to save something, but the actual save location would be that other folder that it points to. At least that's my understanding.
