    Post [ROM] Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1 {Flounder} (09/09/16)

Camera is now working (though icon is still absent from app drawer, but I can live with that). Thank you. I upgraded TWRP to 3.0.0.2, used it to flash vendor.IMG, cleared cache+dalvik, and it works :). One thing I'm very happy about: long sweeping shots in 30fps YouTube videos are now smooth...

    Post [ROM] Dirty Unicorns 6.0.1 {Flounder} (09/09/16)

Coming from a very stable DU 9.8, DU 10 seems to install fine but the camera doesn't work. The camera app doesn't even appear among other installed app icons. "Camera" is listed as a system service that's running, though. Trying to launch the camera from the lock screen brings up the camera...

Post [4.4.4]Kit Kat 4.4.4 OTA Patch

I just updated my locked\non-rooted 19.6.3 Mini, seemingly successfully. I updated using the on-device recovery and the ROM update zip from this thread. The LTE call\sms bug is still present (Tmobile). I swear I saw someone say it was fixed. Can anyone else confirm?

Well, if wifi is even on the MMS message will never get past the "SENDING..." stage.

Post [ICS] Nyan Colonel v5 (Atarashii) Voodoo & No Voodoo

Now I'm forgetting if sending MMS had ever worked for me in CM9 B2. Bizarrely, it is working over 3G, but not WiFi.

I flashed Nyan 4.1 to CM9 b2 and now my MMS messages just say "SENDING..." forever but don't send.

Post [Q] Is XDA a memory hog?

It shows. For me, the XDA experience is great in all the most important ways: speed, features, and community. I guess complaining about memory usage is a bit of a nit pick =P

Post [Q] Is XDA a memory hog?

iii) Discuss it. Maybe someone with some insight on the back-end of XDA will chime in with advice. Maybe they don't even know some people have a problem and they will be able to make a change on their side. Poor performance and/or ad blocking aren't in anyone's best interest. Other vbulletin...

    Post [APP][2.2+][05 Oct. - V2.4] BetterBatteryStats

Here's my log that includes a period of time where the screen was off for about 5 hours, yet I lost about 30% battery. I have fairly low reception where the phone sits during this time. CleanGB 1.1.2 MTD (TW) rom Never used Google Talk (though it is installed) Google voicemail, contacts...

Thread [Q] Is XDA a memory hog?

After a spirited browsing session here at XDA -- peaking at about 15 tabs and 50 pages -- I find that my browser will permanently increase its memory footprint by 100-300 MB. Even once I close all the XDA tabs, that memory is not freed up until I restart the browser. I have observed this...

No, just regular "call in" voicemail, plus VVM is installed.

    Post [ROM] [EL30] [MTD] [BML] CleanGB v1.1.2 (2012/02/13 )

I'm not getting any notification of new voicemails. Nothing in the drawer or VVM. Using the latest MTD version. Any ideas?

Post FLASH EPIC 4g TOUCH on boost!! Step by step!!

Update: TP2 donor to Epic on Sprint is working! Voice and 3G. I was stuck in the "Account could not be validated" state when I tried to make calls or update my profile. This was after following this guide (and any other I could find)...

Post FLASH EPIC 4g TOUCH on boost!! Step by step!!

I'd like to get a bad ESN Epic working with my SERO plan. To do that, I'd like to use my clean ESN TP2 as the donor. Should this guide work for doing that?

Post Please help me with the TP2 Camera Settings

Turn off widescreen photos if you want to get maximum resolution. You'll get 2048x1536 (3.14 megapixels) instead of the widescreen res of 2048x1216 (2.49 megapixels).

Post ~~ DrSrF BUUFfet ~~ [18/07/10] added trans.calendar for Cht1.8.5 and icon bg tempate

Yes, exactly. To know the current time, it's easiest to glance at a digital display; To know elapsed or remaining time from some previous or future point, I find analog to be most readable. (screenshot from Timberwolf's TP2 rom: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=118646 )

Amazing theme indeed. Any plans on making a combo analog/digital clock? I really like having that combo functionality.

Post [PRJ] Linux and Android for CDMA Diamond (DIAM500)

This doesn't work for me on my Sprint Diamond. During bootup, I am not prompted to calibrate, and one of the lines I see quickly scroll by says "using old touchscreen calibration" or something like that, pointing to a very linux looking directory (sys/class/input/input3).

Post [APP] Swype | Project canceled. Please don't support this

Good! A little overlap on the bottom doesn't hurt, but the overlap of the suggested words over the top row of keys is bad. Not a problem when swyping, but it is when tapping while prediction is turned on. I'm on a VGA Diamond.
