I managed to relock, run the 2.2 RUU, re-unlock and root again to get an unbricked stock phone. Facepalm didn't work so I'll give kickdroid and rumrunner a go. EDIT: Kickdroid seems to require a firmware higher than the one I have to work which requires s-off for me to get without bricking...

Can I ask which RUU you used that worked when you had superCID and S-ON? The solution you linked to me in my help thread implied this would result in a brick so I was hoping to try the one you used.

I just cant seem to get this working on cm7. I made a splash and saved it as a 24 bit bmp then I renamed it bootsplash.img. I open up two 7-zip windows and copied the splash into the zip file. But when I try to flash through Hboot it says that the image failed. Am I missing anything?

It must be because i'm still using sense. I'm going to flash a different lockscreen and see if that fixes it. I removed the stock apk and sideloaded the honeycomb music player Is there a specific way to replace it instead of that?

I just installed it two things bug me though. I there any way I could get it working as a replacement for the stock music player? Like making it work with the lockscreen and work right in the notifications area? It's much better than stock even though it can be glitchy.

Can anyone confirm that the htc mobile data toggle widget works in 3.0? For some reason it never worked for me in 2.1 I had to go to the settings menu to turn off my mobile data.

Ok as soon as I finished I made a backup. At first superuser shows a blank screen like normal and if I use a root app it grants permission like normal. But after I grant permission I cannot open superuser to manage permissions. It force closes. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix...

Ok I fixed that. I had the problem with superuser permissionsgranting but not opening from the app menu someone I followed the instructions to update it from the markeet which did not work so I flashed superuser from recovery and now it doesn't work at all. Any ideas? Sent from my Desire HD...
