I know exactly what you mean. I have the brown M9 and I've noticed this too. I tend to just ignore it as it doesnt interfere with functionality. Would love to hear if there's a way to clean it though.

I get about the same battery performance. Others seem to get way higher numbers but I don't mind it anymore, I'm happy my phone can last a day hahaha

How is everyone except me getting unreal levels of SOT? GSAM currently says I can get a max of 1 hour SOT.

Does the phone vibrate when you try and use the scanner (Like a failed print)? or is it completely unresponsive?

I got it to work through BT. Had to use the Bluetooth Auto Connect app for it to work properly though because of the major input lag.

I was getting some trouble with Play Services over the weekend (I was in a place with not so great cell service). Google calendar kept trying to sync. Set it to close calendar on screen lock then got the b172 as well. Battery drain seems to have disappeared.

I still have Google Assistant even after the wipe. Check your language settings, I only got my google assistant when I was on English (United States).
