I don't think the phone's been marketed as heavily as other phones. It doesn't seem as popular, so unless carriers in the US get a display out or spend money on marketing, I don't think development will go far. But one can hope, because I love this phone.

Every time I try to start the bat file, and press enter, the command prompt just says "Working..." and never does anything else. What did I do wrong? I have the system image file in the root directory of the internal storage, I entered download mode.. not sure what I could've possibly missed.

No. It's at&t. So 5.1 probably won't happen. I started deleting all apps that I wasn't sure about. It's still hot and destroying my battery. I needed a quick solution, so I factory reset. It seems to be fine now.

In the past 2 days, my phone has been burning up in my pocket. Nothing is on. Recent apps are cleared and it runs at 42 C by itself. And its running my battery down before I even get halfway through the day. Any help?

I play Hearthstone a lot. I also play CoC, Boss Monster, Subway Surfers, Smash Hit, Osmos, handheld emulators, Minecraft PE, etc. So basically all medium-intensive games. The device gets pretty damn warm on all of those games and drains the battery at 1% every 1 minute. It even lags...

The inside part of the proximity sensor on my Flex has become covered in dust. There's a white dust film on the inside of the glass. So anytime I'm on the phone I can't turn the screen on. Any suggestions? A way to disable the proximity sensor so the screen doesn't turn off during phone calls?

Please help! I did exactly as you said, but when I get into CWM and choose the file from my sdcard, it comes back and says: Finding update package... Opening update package... Installing update... Installation aborted. And goes straight back to the menu. No error messages or anything.

I beg to differ. If you only did those 2 things with a rooted phone before, then you haven't explored the possibilities of rooting. I will agree with everything else though. As for everyone else, I don't have lag issues. And it might be the 3GB of RAM that apparently a lot of other phones...

Same as jholm. The file mentioned the OP was also set to 1.9, but AnTuTu CPU Master only goes up to 1.555.2.

All I'm saying is towelroot wouldn't work on 20f without being rooted beforehand. Being rooted at 20b probably allowed towelroot to work on 20f.

You probably had build version 20b, then rooted, then upgraded to 20f. Which works just fine. So to anyone reading this, you cannot use towelroot if you have version D95020f. You have to downgrade to an earlier version, then root, then upgrade.

I attempted Towelroot on my D950 (AT&T) using 4.4.2 and it said my device is not supported. Severely saddened.

Comcast recently updated its app to.cast your full screen to the tv. And the g flex is listed among the devices that it's compatible with. However.. I updated the app and the button isn't there. Any one else having this issue?

My AT&T G Flex randomly rebooted and when it did, it flashed the AT&T logo off and on infinitely. I did the method of holding down the power button and the volume down button, then releasing the power button and pressing it again to get the hard reset option. Did that, now it just shows the LG...

After using this phone.. Has anyone tried looking at a flat phone and see the corners bending backwards? I know they're not but the flex has made my eyes seem like the corner of other phones look like they're bending away from me.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed after having this phone for almost a month, but the self healing back doesnt really do what it says it does. I have a lot of very small scratches (from every day use, not drops) that are still there and just as, if not more, noticable than most other devices.

I actually had an issue with that when I first got it as well. I kinda just ignored it, until I got EvolveSMS. It has a small text window so the keyboard only takes up half the screen instead of 75% of it. Give it a try.
