Post Buying Pixel 3 XL renewed on Amazon. How to tell if bootloader locked?
Dont quote me on this, but Ive read on Google's site that only the Verizon model is locked. Not surw about IMEI or anythibg. I got mine directly from google so its unlocked. If it's not Verizon, its not locked. I brliev3 the newer Verizon ones are also not locked but like i said, dont quote me...- micfogas

Easy Update I didn't even need Flashfire or Odin.. i was running Alliance v7.12 with OC4 firmware and OA8 kernel... I downloaded Alliance v9 to my ExtSDCard, along with NI2Kernel.apk, and the OA8, OC4, and OE1 safestrappable kernels.. I installed NI2Kernel.apk inside Alliance 7.12/OA8 kernel...- micfogas
