I once faced such a problem. There is a white dot on the top 1/3 of the screen when I press the screen. I found that was because I connected the audio chip to the motherboard wrongly, so the cable squeezed the screen. Please go and have a check whether it is a hardware problem.

You can try Link2SD. Although I have not tried it yet. P.S. You'd better make a backup just in case Link2SD does not work on this ROM.
