Thanks guys but i have resolved the problem.. The problem was that the sms backup softwares were not granted the permission to read service messages..the permission can be granted in the following way: settings->permissions->other permissions->select the app->then enable permission to read...

i am on redmi note 4 2 gb ram version and i wanna know which is the best custon kernel (nougat) for ram management on this device, as miui is lagging very much.. also suggest a rom for this purpose too..

Yeah I have tried it. But it only backs up personal messages only..not the notification ones

i am shifting to a custom rom from stock miui rom..i need to backup my messages so that it can be restored in the custom rom..backup softwares do not work as they r only able to backup the personal messages,not the messages stored in notification group..also i tried the local backup of miui..but...

I am using fiui custom rom on my htc explorer... But the headset jack is not working.. All the headphones used to work on a previous rom.. But now no headphone is being recognized.. Help quickly.

Everything else is working fine.. And previously i used aokp rom for pico..the earphones worked with this rom..
