I don't know man. Already tried so many things to recover my Lumia 1020. Ended up buying a replacement motherboard. JTAG shops couldn't repair it. I had Win10 in it and it just crashed with the "can't find bootable option" error.

I replaced the motherbard with one from eBay. It worked. Software fixes did nothing. JTAG also didn't work.

Well, one store told me it was a corrupted memory and another told me it was a corrupted boot on the CPU. They both used JTAG with different boxes and since it's been a while since Windows Phone has been in use, I'm not sure it's worthwhile to continue trying to fix this.

I can't see a PLAT partition on the mounted .ffu image. If an .ffu can't be edited, than what else is there to do? What about this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/mount-and-modify-a-windows-image-using-dism

When you mount an .ffu image, where are the registry keys that are used to check if the image matches the phone located? I'm going to try and load it, edit it and close it. But I keep getting errors with the dism tool and judging by the log files it's because these ffus are no longer supported.

How do I even read those values? When I open the .ffu file with 7zip, I get a bunch of .efi files and then, inside those, .data files. How do I know where the hardware codes are and how do I read them?

And as I said, WPInternals don't work. Tried it with the costum 830 ROMS on those links and the app just crashes. Tried it with the original ffu for my phone and it crashes. I can't even unlock the bootloader.

So, how do I do that? Via thor2 or WPI? My phone does not show up on file explorer so I can't extract the file from there. So should I extract it from the original FFU? Thanks.
