These are my current profile settings. I find that the cflumen driver when integrated in lux causes the blue shift to be a lot less noticable. I also use screen balance with the settings in the screenshot and it basically removes the black smear unless youre at minimum brightness.

I agree on the black smear point. That's really the only real issue I have with the phone but it only happens in low light situations. I was able to work around it by using lux, cflumen, and an app called screen balance. I agree that the whole blue shift thing was blown out of proportion...

I would do it almost exclusively for greenify, magisk, and A.R.I.S.E. sound mod.

Download and flash A.R.I.S.E. Magnum opus from twrp recovery. Follow the install instructions and make sure you set profiles to true in the config. It includes profiles as well as convolver presets which in most cases are all you should need.

Sounds like you should look at RAM usage around the time that it happens. May be you're aggressively swapping between mobile data and wifi? Shot in the dark

That looks about like mine. Honestly, it doesn't make the phone any less awesome because how often do you really view it at an angle like that. I'm crossing my fingers that Google will be able to remedy some of these issues with software or a class-action lol.

For what it's worth there is no listed change that I can find on the most recent Nova launcher update. Odds are they removed the options.

You can use a paper towel with 90% or higher alcohol and that should clean it pretty well.

If you're a fan of A.R.I.S.E. or Viper4android, you can go download VIPER4win from the original developers site. The app takes convolver presets and is kinda like a light version of what you can get on Android.
