As far as I know, flashing these files won't trip Knox since they're OEM files. But I recommend doing a backup just in case the phone does a factory reset.

By doing a factory reset it deletes everything, including data and files. Root would have been deleted by doing this. I think you're at least on December 2017 security patch, that's why root didn't work. There's a guide on how to root if you're on December/January security patch. Good luck...

The SM-A520F has the radio fm apk, try to install it and see if it works. I don't recommend to install other variant's ROMs since antennas and software frequencies might differ from your original ROM, rendering your phone useless. Chances are it won't even flash. Edit: Try searching the radio...

Yes, it is normal since this ROM is based on the A7 2017's marshmallow one. It doesn't affect anything but you can change it by editing the builprop if you'd like.

Installing Xposed will always trip SafetyNet, it doesn't matter which version of Magisk you have.

I had the same problem as you, try flashing the update zip via TWRP. The zip is in the internal memory /MagiskManager

You must install the Magisk Manager app (search the XDA forum, since it was removed from the playstore), reboot your phone and check (inside the app) that you're properly rooted.
