    Post [APP][ALL ROOT SOLUTIONS][6.0+]ViPER4Android FX 2.7

Given that that driver is supposedly the same, unless something changed in the patching method or how it intercepts the audio to apply the filtering, it has to be a bug in the app. Without nothing else changed, I can go into Magisk and go back and forth between the new and legacy ViPER and...

But as stated above, with legacy Viper (2.5.0.5 material from magisk legacy) it works perfectly! That's why I think it's something in the new implementation.

    Post [APP][ALL ROOT SOLUTIONS][6.0+]ViPER4Android FX 2.7

Hi guys. Just updated to the new Viper from the old v2.5 and there's something very annoying: when I skip or seek to the middle of any track (on Spotify) the processing stops for an instant and then restarts (same as if I was to press the master power off/on again). Went back to Viper Legacy to...

    Post [CLOSED][BETA][2018.7.19] Magisk v16.7 (1671)

Misunderstood your post. On my Pixel 2, running latest Preview5 and with my 1660 to 1671 upgrade path, I have no issues on fingerprint root granting.

Check my post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77175442&postcount=6236 Also had issues with security (in my case PIN + fingerprint). going with build 1660 to set it up and upgrading to 1671 afterwards fixed it for me.

    Post [CLOSED][BETA][2018.7.19] Magisk v16.7 (1671)

topjohnwu In latest Android PPP5 for the Pixel 2, 1671 installs correctly but I cannot setup a PIN. Installing 1660 and then upgrading to 1671 via MagiskManager works as intended Steps for first case: - fresh install of PPP5 on walley - boot to twrp-3.2.2.0 - flashed "FlashKernel v2.57"...

motoboot.img is the bootloader boot.img is the boot partition (where the kernel and the partition mounting is stored) It's interesting that only gpt.bin is present so I'm guessing that the bootloaders are not getting upgraded. It would be interesting if people that were on 5.02 and did the...

As with any other vendor OTA, the phone has to be in stock system state, which is stock kernel and stock system partition. Stock kernel speaks for itself. Just use fastboot to flash boot.img, and you should be set to go (bear in mind that some kernel packages include drivers and libs so you...
