Not sure what I'm doing wrong,but it aint working for me.Had it rooted before the upgrade but now it won't root.

I did the same thing but after a reboot the update showed up again.

OK managed to get it done.I fully charged the tab,turned it off and left it for about 15 minutes.Turned it back on and tried the rooting processe again and this time the zip file showed up.All done now.Thanks for the help Paran[dr]oid. ;)

Yeah I got the cwm installed without any problems.It's just the zip not showing up.

Missing zip Hi guys, Just bought a 1050F and I'm trying to root it but when I get into the custom recovery,I can't see the zip I put on the card.I've tried putting in a few different places but it still doesn't show up in the recovery.Any ideas ? Cheers Vinny

Thought I'd give this a try.Everything seems to be working fine.Super fast and steady.Only problem I've found is with apps like liveleak and dumpert don't seem to be able to play videos.Youtube works but other video streaming sites don't.Am I missing something ? Cheers Vinny

For some reason,since updating to 2.4.0 I'm having trouble with data over the mobile network.I can use all apps over wifi without any problems,but anything like blinkfeed,weather and internet don't work.I have mobile data enabled in the settings.I've tried turning it off and back on...

Installed all 3 zips yesterday.Everything's very smooth and fast.Even after installation,re-installing apps and played around with configurations for a few hours,woke up this morning and still over 70% battery.Awesome :good:

Hi Condi, Finally got around to giving this another go.I clicked on the bat file and selected 2 but it does nothing.Just sits there.Last time I tried,it failed,but that was with 1.1.Everything is set up right regarding adb etc.What am I missing ? Cheers Vinny

Just do a factory reset and play store should be back.

An ext HDD has to have it's own power supply.The tab ain't powerful enough to run a simple plug and play ext HDD.

You can do that with the Media Remote app.

I've got the Sony S, I Pad 2 and Galaxy Tab and still think the Sony is the best of the lot.
