if you want to have a smaller home screen, why don't you just change DPI of your launcher? in paranoidandroid settings list and then goto > all apps and scroll down for trebuchet ( or any other launcher that you use )

Are you still working on this rom? Cause 3.2.1 is "I quess" far the most stable rom for the GT-P7100 atm. I wish 4.0.4 had full camera support then this wasn't the best stable version "I know"
