Post Anyone Moving from Table S to Nexus 7?

Yep, I'm planning on making this move. The lack of root and an unlocked bootloader has made the Tablet S really unattractive next to a $200 pure Google tablet that will surely have a large dev community behind it. I don't mind the smaller screen, personally. The only thing I think I'd really...

Same issue here. It drove me crazy at first but I've developed a good habit of only unplugging/plugging in the headphones while the screen is on. Now I can cope :p

Post Why do Sony do this?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027YYMU6/ So far I've connected a keyboard, mouse, logitech usb gaming controller, and synced my PS3 controller with this adapter. I'm on stock ICS. Sorry for the late reply. Just got a new phone and haven't made it back around to this part of the forums yet :D

Post [Q] htc evo 3d eternal legacy?

I'm having trouble with it crashing on the VM HTC EVO V 4G as well. The game's 3D also doesn't work with the 3D screen.. it just splits the images onto the left and right sides of the screen.. but I can turn 3D off, it's not a big deal.

Post [Q] Will the HTC EVO V 4G get it's on forum?

I would like to see the EVO V 4G get its own section as well. It's just a footnote in the EVO 3D forum right now and I'm having to do a lot of sifting to find stuff relevant to my device.

Post Why do Sony do this?

You know, I've heard this a lot, but I bought some nameless brand USB adapter plug on Amazon and it works just fine. Maybe I got lucky. As for the power adapter, I always assumed it was a special port to accommodate their cradle and keep other tablets from taking advantage of it. Seeing as I...

Post PS3 Controller or Any Other Remote

Has anybody had trouble getting the PS3 controller's right analog stick to work with ICS? I can't get it to register in any games, or map any inputs to it. Can't tell if mine is broken or if its the tablet, as I don't have a PS3 around to test the controller on.

I don't know why I didn't try this before, but today I plugged my PS3 USB Fight Stick into a USB/USBmini adapter and it works with the tablet. Loaded up my Tiger Arcade app and I can play Street Fighter 3 and Marvel VS Capcom on it :D Thought I'd share

Post Problems with Comixology, DC Comics and Marvel Comics

I haven't used it for a while, so I went to go re-download it from the store and it crashed my Play Store app twice, then said it was an invalid package when I tried to install it. Weird. Fourth time was the charm, and when I finally got it loaded up I didn't have any problems logging into my...

    Post suggestions

I think it is worth the update. ICS still has a few annoying little quirks, but its a lot smoother on the Tablet S and just all around nice to look at. You can use condi's tool to update to a pre-rooted version of ICS, just make sure you follow the directions very carefully...

    Post ICS First Impressions

In my quest to owning a Sony Tablet S, I went through 3 Asus Transformers (2 audio jacks broke within a week, one with a bad screen) and a Galaxy Tab (newton rings, :( ) and both of those models had the same notification lag in my experience. My only exclusive complaint for the Sony Tablet S is...

Post The tablet lags when there is a notification

The pop up notifications (floating near the bottom, middle of the screen) drag mine down in both Honeycomb and ICS. Never bothered me too much, but its a hiccup in an otherwise very slick OS.

I've noticed a new problem with my sound. It seems that the tablet doesn't always register when I insert or remove my headphones. Like just now I loaded up a game and I didn't have sound on the external speakers until I plugged in some headphones and unplugged them. Never had this issue in...

Post Just bought a Tablet S.

Good call passing up that Galaxy tab. I had bought one just before the Tablet S came out and it had a bad case of those dreaded Newton's rings. Luckily I was able to swap it. I love the screen on the Tablet S. I think the color representation trumps the ipad 2, but it doesn't get very bright...

    Post Launcher Replacement

Has anybody tried some launchers designed specifically for ICS yet? I'm running Apex Launcher (free) now and it works really well with the ICS update. Thread ICS First Impressions

Looks great so far. The Home launcher is much more responsive so I can do away with ADW EX for now. Kind of wish there were more small apps, but browser, calculator and IR remote are great choices for those and they work terrifically. What do you guys think so far?

Post Guide: Remove the Screen Protector for improved clarity, brightness and color palette

More durable but less shatter proof is a good way to put it. It's not quite gorilla glass quality, but its pretty sturdy and would take a lot of neglect to scratch. I'm more afraid of dropping it now though.

Post Guide: Remove the Screen Protector for improved clarity, brightness and color palette

Just found this thread and did it to mine. Had a couple light scratches I thought I'd just have to deal with, but not anymore. The residue is a bit ick right now but I'm working on it. Maybe I'm just happy and convincing myself of it, but it seems quite noticeably more responsive to touch.

    Post [Q] System sluggishness, lag.

Have you tried using an alternative launcher like ADW EX? The stock Home launcher from Sony is pretty poor.
